Australia vs Oman, 2024 T20 World Cup Highlights: Marcus Stoinis' all-round performance helped Australia register a 39-run win over Oman in a Group B match of the T20 World Cup on Thursday. Batting first, Australia scored 164/5 in 20 overs, with David Warner and Stoinis scoring 56 and 67* respectively.

Later, the bowler performed brilliantly to help Australia restrict Oman to 125/9. Stoinis took three wickets for Australia, while Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa and Nathan Ellis took two wickets each.

Under the T20 World Cup 2024, a match was played between Australia and Oman on Thursday. In this match, Mitchell Marsh's team defeated Oman by 39 runs. Australia, batting first, scored 164 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Oman could only score 125 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. 

David Warner and Marcus Stoinis scored half-centuries in this match. Chasing the target, Oman's team could score 125 runs for nine wickets. In this match, he started with a setback. On the third ball of the first over, Mitchell Starc dismissed Pratik Athawale LBW. 

In the fifth over, Nathan Ellis dismissed Kashyap Ellis who could score only seven runs. In this match, Oman's batting order could not show anything special. Apart from Ayan Khan, no batsman performed well. He scored 36 runs. However, Jampa made him his victim in the 16th over. In this match, Aqib Ilyas scored 18, Zeeshan Maqsood one, Khalid Kyle eight, Shoaib Khan zero, Mehran Khan 27, Shakeel Ahmed 11 runs. 

At the same time, Kalimullah and Bilal Khan remained unbeaten by scoring six and one run respectively. For Australia, Stoinis took three wickets while Starc, Ellis and Jampa took two wickets each.

Marcus Stoinis was named the Player of the Match for his excellent all-round performance. He said that it was a good start and they were happy to win and everyone got a chance to bowl. He said that he wanted to hit the ball hard on the ground and then he picked his bowlers and faced them.

He mentioned that facing the spinners was a bit tougher than the fast bowlers as the ball was moving up and down more for him. He said that he bowled a lot of cross balls as the balls were staying low sometimes so he tried to mix it up with bouncers as well.
